State of the Union
We hope your new year is off to a great start. At the beginning of 2014, we thought we would update you with a State of the Union from The Helmstar Group. 2013 was an eventful year for our firm. As you know, we moved offices. We needed additional space to accommodate our firm’s continued growth. We took the risk that you wouldn’t miss the sign-in desk or security guard too much! We also felt it imperative that you have easy access to our building, and good parking (not a parking garage or metered parking downtown). We hope you find this to be more convenient for you. We look forward to welcoming you this year.
Our firm remains unique in the industry as our entire team works collaboratively for one clientele. We feel this allows each of our strengths to be exploited for the benefit of maintaining and servicing your financial plan. This is why we feel so fortunate to add Joe Piscione as the newest member of our team. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and with 10years of experience in corporate accounting with Albertsons and 10 years as a financial advisor, Joe undoubtedly adds depth and breadth to our team.
So why reemphasize the new office and adding another advisor? First, we want to reiterate our commitment to you. As our firm continues to grow, it cannot come at the sacrifice of time or resources available to service you and your plan. Thus, we have long planned for how to accept new growth, and strengthen our team and resources available to you as our firm grows. This is an ongoing commitment. As we grow, it must be a win win… for our clients and for our firm.
The second reason we reemphasize these points is to say a BIG THANK YOU. Our firm would not grow without you. In reviewing last year, we were again reminded that as your friends retire, lose a loved one, get divorced, change advisors etc… you are helping them by sending them to our firm. It is humbling to us that virtually 100 percent of our growth was thanks to each of you. Thank you for caring enough to help them take action in their time of need. We love what we do and are passionate about helping families have peace of mind surrounding their financial affairs. It is a great added benefit to us when we get to work with your friends and family that exemplify your high values and character.
Lastly, because our firm continues to grow, and because of our commitment to you, it is likely we will need to hire an additional team member in mid-2014. This will be a receptionist/client services position.
